I had to post this before I forgot--hopefully I will add some more posts later with pictures from our summer vacations.
We were in Breckenridge last week at Ben's work conference. And, we were trying to get the kids to sleep in the hotel. All 3 of them were lined up on the pull out bed and they were having a hard time settling down at the end of a fun day and not "touching" eachother. Needless to say the parents were tired and getting frustrated. Finally Ben says, "If you don't lay down, I am going to spank your tail!" Everyone could tell Dad was serious, and there was a short tense silence, then Sienna says in a quiet, thoughtful voice, "But Daddy, we don't have tails." Dad and I look at eachother, we crack a smile, and then break out into laughter along with all the children. Good thing those kids are so darn cute!
