This year we have had a lot of snow--it is snowing right now in fact! The kids have enjoyed playing in it. We even had some drifts that they were able to build a snow fort in!

Thanksgiving Play
The Kindergarten Class put on a Thanksgiving Play for their parents and the rest of the Elementary Classes. Emma did a great job memorizing her lines. What a cute pilgrim!
Our Homecoming Princess
Each year the Seniors choose a boy and girl in the kindergarten class to be a part of the Royal Court for Homecoming. Emma ran home and told me that she would get to be a princess in the Homecoming Parade--she was so excited. You can see that she even has the wave down. She also got to put the crown on the King. A Good Big Brother!
Our neighbor just related this story to us:
They were walking home from school and ran into Bryce and Emma. Bryce was carrying his back pack and Emma's and was asking her to hurry up please. Emma was taking her time and barely shuffling her feet. "Emma, please hurry up!" he begged again. The neighbor commented that it was nice of him to carry her backpack, and that he sure was a good big brother, to which Bryce replied, "Yah, it sure is hard though sometimes."
